APNA to facilitate online group mentoring sessions for nurses within your PHN. The aim of these sessions is to strengthen relationships, create local professional development opportunities and share knowledge amongst nurses.
Cost: $6,000 per block of 6 sessions purchased. Minimum 6 sessions with groups of up to 15 nurses.
PHN staff workshop
Do you want to avoid reinventing the wheel? Find out how other nurse support officers are managing their role and identify resources to share amongst your professional network through online workshops.
Cost: $7,500 for four 90-minute sessions. Four sessions with your PHN nurse support officers.
Online Learning subscription
You can assist nurses by providing them with a subscription to access to 200+ hours of rich, interactive learning in a fully flexible online format which can be used towards CPD national registration. APNA Online Learning allows users to work through the education at a pace that suits you. An educational module can be started, paused and recommenced a number of times without users losing track of their progress, giving you the flexibility to stop and start your learning.
Cost: Packages tailored to the needs of your PHN. Indicative cost: $5,000 per month for 120 nurses. *minimum 12 month subscription

APNA can tailor nurse led clinics and leadership skills workshops to meet the focus areas of your PHN. Nurse clinics are an effective way to involve patients in their own health care by providing a more integrated and patient-centered approach to care. Nuse led clinics benefits include improved patient health outcomes, better access to care, and decreased rates of hospital admission.
Cost: Packages tailored to the needs of your PHN. Can be delivered by webinar during COVID-19 outbreak.
APNA Organisational Membership
Support nurses in your catchment by providing them with full APNA membership benefits, including discounts to specifically tailored professional indemnity insurance and more. APNA Organisational membership covers at least 4 individuals, with the option to add more individuals at an additional cost.
Cost: $205 per nurse for 4+ nurses
APNA Nurse helpline subscription
Connect nurses within your PHN with senior, experienced registered nurses who are available to provide support, share up to date information, best practice and clinical advice.
Cost: $45 per month per nurse *minimum 12 month subscription and min 50 nurses
COVID-19 Nurse Support
Supporting your nurses is vital during this time. This support package provides access to the APNA online learning catalogue and unlimited access to the APNA nurse support line for 12 months.
Cost: $72 per month per nurse *minimum 12 month subscription
Workforce self-assessment tool
APNA can conduct nurse self-assessments for level of clinical capability and confidence to inform your workforce-level planning and provide insights into the needs of nurses within your PHN. This is generally done twice, at the beginning and end of a project.
Cost: Pricing dependent on number of nurses. Indicative cost: $8,000 per 40 nurses
Nurse workforce briefing and workshop
APNA can provide a briefing on national workforce data of 2,000+ nurses including insights into the nurses in your PHN, including their capacity, current challenges and daily tasks and likelihood of retention.
Cost: $2,500 for half day briefing
