Leadership in Action
This module will provide you with interactive activities to strengthen your understanding of leadership and provide practical ways to improve your leadership as a general practice nurse. It will assist you in developing an action plan for your professional development.
After completing this module you should be able to:
- reflect on the knowledge and skills required to lead,
- assess your own leadership qualities,
- examine the opportunities for nursing leadership in general practice, and
- prepare an action plan for your professional and leadership development.

This module consists of five sections:

- Section 3: The opportunities for nurses to lead,
- Section 4: Taking action, and
- Section 5: Summary.
You will need to progress through each section and complete all activities in order to complete the module.
