Career and Education Framework and Toolkit for Nurses in Primary Health Care
Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, the APNA Career and Education framework aims to improve the recruitment and retention of the nursing workforce within primary health care. The program aims to re-engineer primary health care as a first choice career pathway and authentically represent the array of impactful career and education opportunities available to nurses of all skill levels and backgrounds. The 'Framework' will be accessible to all current and future nurses on the mobile-responsive website, MyNursingFuture.com.au.
The new My Nursing Future mobile website APNA is developing will allow nurses to navigate these primary health care career and education pathways with ease.
From the start, this project has been developed “By Nurses, For Nurses" using a human centred design approach. We would like to acknowledge the more than 1,000 nurses and health experts involved in the developement of the 'Framework' and the mobile website, MyNursingFuture.com.au.
